"(The Green Annex Building) Felt like staying in a HOSPITAL WARD with DEPRESSING and complicated world war 2 bunker style tunnels connecting the building. EXTRA CHARGES for towels and dressing gown. NO BREAKFAST. Very dated decor in the room, Cheap and nasty bathroom and toilet. Broken Sofa Bed. It's a little walk up to the town, but a nice walk. "Bag Gastein is a wonderfull villiage and the waterfall is amazing and just a few steps away from the hotel. Also beautifull routes to walk start nearby. The room are a bit dated but they are very clean and big. The bath was very nice. "

"I really enjoyed my short stay at Hotel Gratz. The sauna was fantastic and really helped me recover after doing an ultramarathon (which is why I traveled to the area). I also appreciated the hotel offering me early breakfast on the day of my race so I could get some food in advance. Note that the rooms (at least the one I stayed in) don't have kettles so you can't make your own coffee/tea. Breakfast does usually have a bit of a late start time (8:00) so something to consider if you're an early...
