"Quirky place with motel style rooms with full door wooden shutters. Seating area outside was a bonus. Just stayed for 1 night en route to Nantes."

"Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful."

"Arrived at the end of the season when the region was very quiet, so some amenities closed. In full season there would have been lots to do including the floral park next door. Castle has an interesting history and ornate facade and is complete with Rapunzel tower and grand salon. Our room was up high with a pleasant view of the drive. Owners are developing and has lots of potential. Owner keen to please. Calm and relaxing environment."

"Amazing stay with nice small room with a very nice air-conditioning. Breakfast was great. Diner not tho because it was full, even tho 15 tables were free. 45 minutes still 10 tables were free who were free at the start. We went for a hotdogs instead."
