The property despite being a Victorian building is clean and well maintained with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. The location is also a big plus. Very convenient for getting around...

"It’s our second time staying at the Doubletree in Brighton. Whilst our room was great, large, and had a huge bed, it did unfortunately stink of stale cigarettes. I don’t think the room should have been assigned to guests unless it had been aired for a few days. In saying that, I know that this hotel is usually perfection so wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Breakfast was amazing and in a beautiful room too."

"The good: We were surprised by how quiet it was. There are bars, shops and the seafront very close by but as they are not right on that street, even on a summer Saturday evening it was peaceful. A fan was supplied which was much appreciated as it was an attic room with only a small window. There was a toilet just outside our room (shared bathroom). Check out was by 11am which is generous. The not so great: the hotel and room were tired, the carpets show a lot of wear, the mattresses were...
