"Sweet hotel with pub in the middle of Alton. Very convenient location and very cozy, comfortable room. Staff was great. We had dinner and food was top notch. We were there during the intense heat wave and there was no air conditioning, but I don’t think there is any in the village. Staff was accommodating with fans."
