"Amazing stay. Stayed four nights and eat at the restaurant twice for supper. First supper, cheek pork with varieties of veggies. Incredible. 2nd supper veal steak. Very good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent wine made on property. Breakfast was all you needed and excellent. What you see on the photos is what you get. If I return to the Douro region, I would not hesitate to go back. Cheers"

"This was a value for money choice. It was very nice, spacious, clean and provided everything one could want except for people who one could put questions to. However I did not need this as everything was clear in the instructions. By saving on staffing one can keep attractive prices. Breakfast was at a nearby bakery, supposedly the best in town. This bakery provided nice breakfasts and staff were nice and helpful and accepted the voucher from the hotel without questions."
