"Loved our stay. Great staff and very nice pub/inn. Well maintained"

"Beautiful and comfortable room. The big bath was a lovely luxury. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. It's worth taking note that breakfast is in another building a short walk away."

"This is an excellent place to stay for a few nights. Our room as in the attic and was small but well laid out, clean and very well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of cooked dishes, as well as cereals, yogurt and juice. The central location makes it a good choice in this pretty town."

"Lovely old hotel and our indulgence plus room was beautiful and elegant we loved the deep copper bath where we indulged in a luxurious soak on the night of our stray together with the hot powerful shower the next morning"

"We had a superb couple of nights at the Museum. The Hotel exhibits a real delapidated chic. Wonderful staff made the stay so much better. Great breakfast and very convenient for visiting family in Chettle."

"Room was lovely and clean staff very welcoming and helpful we felt the menu could have been a bit more varied"

"I stayed here again with my husband, this was our second stay, lovely clean room, we had a private hot tub which was lovely, so 100 recommend three lions x"

"Had a lovely weekend with hubby, stayed in one of the lovely little cabins and it felt so cosy and relaxing. We had both breakfasts and dinners at the pub and it was great good quality food and excellent service. Location is perfect right in the middle of the paradise of the New Forest."

"On site parking was good. Staff were very helpful. Spacious room and comfortable bed. It is an old building so not perfect in places. Food was excellent in evening and staff very good. Only one real ale available on draft when we stayed but good quality. Enjoyed the breakfast, good value overall and would happily return."

"Very clean, polite and friendly staff, breakfast well cooked, good variety and plentiful. Good value stay close to Lighthouse theatre, will recommend."

"Very nice and supportive staff, clean room"

"We had a warm welcome and an easy check-in, the bistro/bar/outside area was a lovely setting in the evening sunshine and a great spot for breakfast in the morning, the room was a good size and everything was clean. We had a good sleep in the comfy bed and pillows. The hotel was easy to find having arrived by train and ideally located to the night life, close enough to stroll down but not so close you would be disturbed by it. Great weekend stay."

"Great location near Poole Quay. A few stairs to climb to room but great view of Sunseeker Boatyard from window!"
