The family had a vision of a place in the Uco Valley vineyards with rooms facing the Andes Mountains and overlooking their vineyards. The owner is an expat from America and very nice however he insisted that we paid cash and when we were allowed to pay credit card we had to pay at a higher exchange rate than what was agreed upon on hotels.com. "Incredible facilities and location. The villas were pristine, roomy and comfortable. The location between vineyards and man made lakes make it unique. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help on any need we had. We would only return to The Vines when visiting Mendoza. One comment. It is 1:40 hrs away from the airport"
