We were in the Pavarotti suite which was fabulous - very clean, spacious and quiet with a lovely view of the garden. The staff were extremely kind, professional and accommodating - Manuel and Daniela deserve a special mention. This is a peaceful retreat within walking distance of Merano (a gorgeous spa town) and Trauttmansdorff (botanical gardens) plus lots of hiking routes. A true gem!"

"The hotel was fantastic. Very quiet, wonderful to be surrounded by nature and only hear birdsong. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the facilities were spotless and there were some nice touches such as complimentary apples, spring water and even a hot water bottle. Great to have no television and the hotel's sustainability scores highly and is to be commended. This hotel deserves to be in the Leading Hotels of the World and we will definitely return."
