"Claimed not to have our booking for two rooms for two nights - not sure if them or hotels.com. Offered us one room for the three of us - not ideal, I’m convinced they did have other spare rooms. The location is ok. It wasn’t particularly clean and the Wi-Fi only worked occasionally. Not impressed. "

"Bora Hotel is fantastic! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The staff is super friendly and helpful. One of the best features is that they have electric car chargers, which is so convenient for guests with electric vehicles. The location is perfect, and the overall experience was excellent. "Villa Sharm is an oasis on the hill set amongst the local apartments. Had a great room looking over the town towards the Gjirokastër castle. Breakfast was a fair hotel buffet. Not the best but not the worst. Staff were helpful in sorting my questions. Twenty minute walk over to the Old Town Bazar area. Parking at property was excellent."

"We had a fantastic couple of nights' stay at Stitch & Stones, which is ideally situated near all the main sights in Gjirokaster, near the castle, the bazaar and lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The rooms are beautifully designed with a very high standard of finish. We were welcomed by the owner and given our choice of rooms. Breakfast is provided by the restaurant on the ground floor and it was fresh and tasty, and there is a lovely roof terrace bar which we visited several times for...
