Everything about this stay was perfect. The staff was very helpful and personable. The room was immaculate. Breakfast was made to order and very good. Tongeren is a lovely, quiet town. A terrific stay.
We have stayed here several times when we go to Maastricht. This time, as in the past, was a very positive experience. Our room was ready upon arrival and bigger than we had expected, since it was on the corner. This brought good and some negative, since there was more noise. Now, at the beginning of the university year, there were many noisy students on the square late into the night. But, that is the price one pays if you want a room with a view of the square! We loved it overall.
I am so glad I chose The Social Hub Maastricht for my stay in this fantastic, beautiful city. The staff at this hotel are so engaging, friendly, helpful and personable. The main lobby is a bar and coffee shop with tables and chairs one can use for any purpose (I did a lot of blogging on my computer here) There is also a ping-pong table and a piano (which I played - it needs tuning!) It is my second stay at this hotel because the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the property is very conveniently located across the central station so you can drop off my luggage right away and go into the town even if you arrive before 3 pm check in time. A perfect location when you are traveling by train.

This hotel was a surprise. I didn't think I' d truly like it so much. The staff was extremely friendly. The decor of my room was genuinely to my persal taste and style. Great location the city market, restaurants, cafes, and social night life. Special note: The hotel's college student employee, sander, was not only willing to help me carry my bags to my room, he handles administrative matters professionally. He and the entire staff represent the hotel well. This hotel is a gem find.
This hotel was perfectly situated in the core of old Maastricht. It is an older hotel but very well maintained. You are basically steps away from numerous historic sites, shopping, excellent restaurants, cafes, and bars. There is even a movie theater nearby and a grocery store conveniently located on the same block. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the front desk, breakfast, and room cleaning. Oh, and the bed was sooo comfortable! I will absolutely return.
Parking is on the property and tram access for the old city is just across from the entrance. Staff was very kind and helpful. The restaurant was excellent.
The hotel was modern with small but clean rooms and a good location. Bathroom setup with tub & separate shower plus additional toilet room was nice, but with the sofa bed made, there wasn't anywhere to leave our luggage. The kids play area in the lobby, kids' check gift & a large breakfast buffet was very nice extra for the kids. The bar was opened late for the world cup game, which Germany won - definitely a great way to end the day.
