Very clean and lovely property with a wonderful host.
Trisha was super helpful planning our day in the area. She gave great tips for other areas we were visiting as well. Breakfast was excellent and very fresh. Our room was very comfortable and extremely clean. I would highly recommend this property for any traveler in the area.
This is a stunning property with very professional and friendly staff. There is a beautiful perimeter walk on property, around the golf course and grounds which can include the lake (~1.2-1.5 mile circuit). The food in Palmer’s bar was fine, we liked the chicken supreme quite a bit and the wait staff, especially Derry, was wonderful. Lovely nooks like you’ll find in the lounge are perfect for reading and having tea. Breakfast was an amazing and almost decadent experience. Three downsides to be...
The location was phenomenal for easy access to Galway city centre. The staff was incredibly helpful.
I do wish the WiFi signal was a little stronger in our room. We had to be by the door in order to get a decent signal.
The area of town is nothing special, but we enjoyed watching rugby practice at the adjacent pitch. Two issues were the shower; the pressure was good but the design is poor. There was water all over the floor afterwards. The second issue was really poor service in the restaurant, both at dinner and at breakfast. Apparently, being short handed is an issue outside of the US as well.
This stay was less than two weeks after a stay in a nearby hotel. The experiences were like night and day, The Maldron is the better hotel, by a long shot.
Staff: Extremely professional, good attention to detail, pleasant, and overall excellent service
Beds: Very comfortable
Rooms: Very clean
Food: Excellent variety and quality of food at breakfast
Leisure Centre: Didn't get an opportunity to use
Location: c. 1K from town centre (short walk), in a business park area with plenty parking,...
Our stay at Seacrest was spectacular. The grounds and view are beautiful. The neighborhood is very quiet. The host maintains the interior and exterior exceptionally. The breakfast options and flavors were delightful each time. We would stay here again on a return trip.
We stayed here for 2 nights for a portion of our honeymoon. From the start, we loved everything about it. Staff were super friendly and helpful with check in, and then will drawing on a map for us to help us find things to do in Galway. The included breakfast was really good. The West restaurant (upstairs) was a little too fancy for us, so we ended up eating down the street at O'Grady's on the Pier. It was amazing seafood. The other restaurant on site is really good for drinks and more...
