Great location in Chatham just on the outskirts of town and in between two small beaches that were beautiful at sunset. Our (Host) John was knowledgeable and very helpful with restaurants and other tourist things to do.
This was the absolute best place to stay and we will be coming back. We loved the rooms, they were very clean and beautiful. The staff was excellent and very kind. The pool was amazing and so were the complimentary bikes. I wouldn’t change a thing! We only stayed for one night but wish we would’ve booked our whole trip here.
We love staying at Handkerchief Shoals Inn. It is so clean, quiet, economical, and conveniently located between our two favorites: Harwichport and Chatham. All rooms have been updated too. It is a little hidden treasure!
We totally enjoyed our stay! It was a one minute walk to the beach and less than a 5 minute walk to town. We went to many of the restaurants and the food was excellent. Great shopping. Quiet, relaxed area. We highly recommend the Kingfisher Inn and look forward to staying again.
Highly recommend Chatham Bars Inn! Stay in the cottages along the water and start each day with a view of the sunrise, fishing boats, and harbor seals. Walk to the pool, beach, and the buffet breakfast. Walk to Main Street in town for even more restaurants, ice cream and candy shops, and great browsing in stores you can only find on the Cape. My sister and I did a few day trip to the Cape and once again stayed here. It is clean and comfortable and I always sleep well! Pam is lovely and accommodating and the queen of muffins. Not fancy, shmancy...but has everything you need/want for a motel and very comfortable. This was our second trip and stay and we will be visiting Pam again!
You know it when you stay at a place the owner loves and cares for — the Doryman is that kind of place. It’s not a new facility — newness they cannot provide. But the owner and staff clearly care about the property and their guests. If you appreciate old-fashioned hospitality, stay here.
Couldn't ask for more. The staff were extremely friendly and generous. The room was beautiful -- not overly luxurious, but full of character and with an extremely comfortable bed. One fixture on the bathroom sink was broken, and the TV was on the small side, but I would hardly call these complaints given how nice the overall experience was. And to top it off, the breakfast was amazing -- both the quality of the food and the service. We would definitely stay at the Captain Farris again.
Check in was fast and easy. The room was clean and pretty. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal! The breakfast was continental but had pancakes! The staff was super helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!
