"The cabin is on the rustic side with older tub and shower but clean and plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed. Very roomy sitting area with sofa and a small table and chairs. There’s also a patio. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great meal in the dining room and the coffee at the expresso bar was excellent."

"This place is a gem! I took the ferry from Whittier to Valdez and got in late. The host was amazing at communicating with me and making arrangements for me getting in late. When I got there, he had a warm meal waiting for me (it was delicious!). The place was clean, bed was comfortable, I felt safe as a solo traveler, host had an amazing breakfast as well as a ton of local tips and suggestions. This far exceeded my expectations!
