"Second visit, staff continue to be extremely friendly and helpful. Easy reach of the beach and the pool was great for an early morning lap swim. Excellent snorkelling spot 😊. Saw two black tipped reef sharks. Good food, great curries from the chef Vikram Singh. "

"This place was one of four places we stayed that we’d return to. We loved the vibe. We loved meeting peeps of all ages from around the world. We loved the grounds full of Kulu birds, the ocean views and how they knew what we wanted for breakfast. We loved the massages, the Kava ceremony and smell of flowers everywhere. We loved the fresh yellowfin tuna that we fished for and ate in 6 different ways. We loved the Yanuca island snorkeling trip! Vivid blue, pink, yellow and green corals. The beach was nice for a dip at high tide and we loved the pool in the rain. But mostly we loved the Fijian people who work there and the many adventures we shared from BASE FIJI on site at the Beach House. "

"What you need to know. Fiji is HOT. Restaurants are not air conditioned. Snorkeling off resort is marginal. Food is good but buffet needs help. We did not need the food plan. People stake out the best spots at the adult pool even though they are not supposed to. Staff is delightful but make sure they understand you. Over all we were pleasantly surprised. We loved the sea front bure. "

"The staff and facilities, and access to the beach were great. The food in their resteraunt was good, not excellent, but good. You do have to provide your own filtered or bottled water and your own shampoo and soap which was disappointing. I would have given 5 stars except the wifi wasn't available in the rooms, you had to go outside in the heat and humidity to get wifi. Also, it took them 4 days to fix our AC in the main room, so we had to blast the AC from our bedroom to cool the room. They appologized and said they are working on the wifi ... Because everything else was so good, I would possibly give them another chance after checking on wifi."
