"I had a very enjoyable stay here! The front desk staff was welcoming and efficient, the lobby area was lovely, my room was clean and charming, and the area felt very safe. The location was perfect for visiting my daughter who lives in Greenpoint, and there are restaurants and a market close by. However, there is no quick or easy way to get into Manhattan from here."
"Great location if you’re in Greenpoint…
Staff friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean and very large for NYC area….
Will certainly stay there again"
"I enjoyed my stay and if I have to spend another night in NYC I would use this hotel again. I found it clean and conveniently located close to a subway entrance."
"Small rooms but very clean. Staff at the front desk were super nice and helpful. F-train subway stop is about a 5 min walk away. During the day very bustling area, lots of local shops! Felt very safe. Late at night some of the surrounding streets are pretty empty, which felt a little less comfortable walking back from the D-train stop coming back from Midtown."
"Great place. So clean! Comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the view from the rooftop garden area is fantastic, great price, perfect location- walking distance to Grand Central, Times Square, NY Public Library, Bryant Park. My go-to for every NYC trip."
"The rooms were small but comfortable for me. For a one night stay in NYC this is a great place! Located in a wonderful neighborhood where there are plenty of restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops and bars. Very quiet area, well.
I will use this hostels again"
"This is a nice hotel, conveniently located in the center of the NYC financial district. There are many bars, restaurants and activities within easy walking distance (only .6 mile to the 911 Memorial), and subway stations are nearby. The hotel rooms are small and pretty basic, but they are clean and our bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area is safe. I would stay here again."
"Larger than average studio room which was in a great location for restaurants, bars and cultural attractions in the LES, Soho, Nolita and a short walk to Greenwich Village. You feel you are in the real NYC and there are lots of subway stations nearby to take you uptown, downtown and to Brooklyn. The J and Z lines at nearby Bowery Station take you directly to Jamaica Station to connect to the Air Train to JFK.
It’s a bit worn in places and would benefit from more pots and pans/ cutlery but for...
"The staff is amazing the rooms are clean and comfortable. There's a great restaurant, bar lounge and rooftop bar.
This hotel is in Gramercy Park centrally located in Manhattan.
I would recommend it to anyone."
"It was a great hotel - perfectly located just off Times Square. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. There is coffee and tea available throughout the day. The gym is quite small but usable. The rooms are great - despite being so close to Times Square they are quiet, noise was not an issue at all. And the beds were also very comfortable. My only actual gripe is that the towels had a strong smell of petroleum. I led the hotel management know. Apart from that, it was great...

Greenpoint Library and Environmental Education Center
Greenpoint Library and Environmental Education Center is worth a visit, located 3.3 mi (5.4 km) from central Brooklyn. Brooklyn has many other popular activities you might want to visit such as Madison Square Garden and MetLife Stadium.
Travelers might want a tour of Hana Makgeolli Brewery, just one of the places to visit, and located 4 mi (6.5 km) from central Brooklyn.

I have stayed here four times now each for three nights. This time I was on the ground floor. I have also stayed on 1 and 2 (which is the top floor). The staff is great. They have a car service that will take you around greenpoint to drop you and pick you up. Rooms have working kitchens so breakfast in the room is easy. I would recommend 2nd floor rooms as the rooms have wooden floors and sometimes the sound of shoes/heels can be annoying. The rooms are immaculate and ooms on 1 and 2 have...
Loved everything about our stay at the Broadway Plaza Hotel. Front desk staff was incredibly nice and helpful as were their two security/doormen. Hotel was nice, room was clean and spacious for our family of 6, beds were very comfortable, and it was located in a very good location. Subway and restaurants were within walking distance, area is busy day and night but we slept without any disturbances. Highly recommend and look forward to our next stay here!
This is a well maintained property in a safe walkable part of Midtown East. I would def stay here again (I'm tri-state and travel to the city often). One note for non-tech folks, there are no room keys, it's all done on your phone through an app. I've stay at hotels where this was an option, but for this hotel it is the only option. This does allow you to set everything up before arrival (maybe after you have stayed a few times), having said that there was a staff member there to help me through...
Great location! Great restaurants nearby! Comfortable beds. It would have been nice though if a little birthday card or something was put in my room! Other than that you cannot go wrong staying here and I’m planning to again!
Jose was so helpful. Ordered my cab for an early departure and was there early in the morning to help me with my bags into the cab. Great service. I'll stay there again!
I'm a regular at Pod 39 when I come to NYC by myself. It's very minimalist and if I was planning to spend more time in my room, I'd go elsewhere, but exactly what I need when I'm in the city to see shows and check out some exhibitions. Always clean and my room is always ready when I arrive (which has not been my experience at other NYC hotels).
Very new interior. A good deal compared with other hotels in the area. Nice midtown location. Nearby subway and bus. Nice little cafe inside hotel (and bar in late afternoon and evening. Rooms while not large are big enough and larger than many hotels.
