"Great place and really good staff"

"We stayed in the Kennels apartment and it was ideal, the most dog friendly accommodation we have come across. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the staff were lovely. Definitely going to stay again."

"Beautiful hotel in a superb setting. Large spotless room. Superb breakfast and lovely staff."

"Nice clean room. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff and lovely location."

"I love this wonderful hotel. Ok, it’s maybe a bit old fashioned, but it’s clean, quiet, comfortable and has a friendly local feel. It really does seem like a home from home, except the food is better here! It’s great value for money too. I’ll make a point of staying at the Commercial whenever I’m in the area."

"Very clean & comfortable, easy check-in and out"

"Lovely room, recently refurbished, great location and friendly staff"

"Helpful staff, Comfortable bed."

"What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"Excellent host and service. "
