"The hotel was a delight. The location was ideal (just a 5 minute ride on the #2 tram from Centraal Station) and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The breakfast at the hotel is a bit pricey but well worth the price. Although the hotel is quite old it holds its age well and the rooms are quite modern. When I come back to Amsterdam-and I will be back - I hope to stay at the same place."

The Highland House location is very convenient to the train, many canals tours and many key sight seeing locations. Adnan, Concierge, was one of the most genuinely friendly people we met on our vacation.
