"First of all it could not be found. My sat nav couldn't find it. Varney Rd did not have a street sign and I don't think 44 actually exists. It took over 1 hour to locate this den. The key lockbox is situated on a wall, unmarked, and with all adjacent doors un numbered, on what can only be described as wasteland behind some shops. "What a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Nottingham. Just far enough off the main strip that it's quiet and peaceful, but also very walkable to all the key tourist things. We stayed in the Honywood Suite and it was amazing! Really beautifully decorated, comfortable and the rooftop terrace is a great touch. The caves had some mould issues on the seats and could do with better upkeep, but otherwise worth a quick look."
