"A stopover on the way to watch the grandson play football. The hotel was convenient for the centre of Middlewich, where we found an excellent Italian restaurant. The check-in was dealt with well by the lady who checked us in, especially as I had made a mistake in the booking. Parking was limited with double yellow lines on the surrounding roads but the lady who checked us in sorted us out for parking. Room was compact, the shower was efficient.
