Catch a wave at the bustling main beach where surfers of all levels ride Pacific swells beneath golden sunsets. Cobblestone streets wind through this former backpacker haven, now buzzing with bohemian energy yet still maintaining its small-town soul. The central plaza pulses with life as vendors at Sayulita Farmers Market offer local treasures. Playa los Muertos provides a quieter alternative when the main beach gets crowded. Despite growing popularity, this coastal gem balances tourism with authentic Mexican charm in a way few places manage.
The common areas were great, especially the rooftop with 2 sauna pools. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very convenient to get a coffee at the attached cafe. Also an excellent location to access the many restaurants in San Pancho and the beach.
My stay at Avela Boutique was very pleasant. The room was very clean, comfortable and the ac worked amazingly well! If you need a quiet place to stay this is the place for you! The best part for me staying at this Hotel was definitely the service and the attention the staff gave to me. For the first time in my life I was traveling somewhere by myself due to this I nervous and worried about where I was staying. I felt so safe thanks to the staff especially Danny he was awesome made me feel at...
My girlfriend and I are 29 years old and were looking for a quiet beach with amazing service to enjoy each other's company and this place was perfect. The service was second to none and the food was amazing. We also liked that we were the youngest people there so there wasn't any beer funneling or annoying kids running around. We went in February and had the run of the place. Anywhere we wanted to be on the beach was free and the best views at each restaurant were always available when we...
We were able to move to a quieter room thanks to manager Raul. Construction still going on. Room was clean. I really enjoyed the access to the gym as I am recuperating from surgery and must exercise. The breakfast service was nice and the 24 hour coffee and tea a nice perk. Carlos at front desk very helpful too.
Super sick time there. Never been to mexico and my 2nd time to a hostel. The atmosphere was really chill, inviting and a great place to meet people from around the world. Would highly recommend especially for a solo traveler to make friends!
This property was great. Clean, high quality, ocean view, everything we hoped it would be. The only problem we had was the hot water going out four times followed by a few attempts in communication with follow up.
My family really enjoyed staying at La Puesta. The views are spectacular, we loved waking up to see and hear the ocean everyday. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely curated. My kids (7&9) loved the pool and slide. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect because it was quiet, away from the noise of the town center, but a convenient 10 minute walk (or couple minute golf cart) ride into town. Definitely recommend and would consider staying here again.
I was here for three nights in February 2024 and had an enjoyable stay. The front desk team of Joseph and Neo were friendly and supportive. The room was spacious and the shower was huge and divine. I also liked the rooftop pool as an escape from the town when I needed it. I recommend this place if you want a nice hotel near the downtown of Sayulita. It kind of felt like an oasis in the busy town.
