We had a great time staying at Nalha. The hotel is fairly new and the accommodations are great. Their staff went above and beyond to make us feel truly VIP. This place is a bit remote and it's 15 min north of town and I recommend to the travellers going to Nalha to rent a car as it will save them money as the location of the hotel is northern side of the lagoon. This place was in the middle of the jungle and it's perfect for rest and relaxation. Highly recommend it if rest is your priority.

The place was wonderful. No traditional “check in” process as much as someone meeting us at the front door. She was nice and helpful and got us to our room. Room was fantastic, rooftop pool was fairly dirty but it is the off season. The view from the top was wonderful and it has a comfy, covered hangout space. Everything in the room worked great and was comfortable. The room facing the street was pretty loud late into a Saturday night, but the room on the other side was quiet.

Hotel El Caballo Blanco is our favorite place to stay at Mahahual Beach. We have been to Mahahual a number of times and now we find ourselves wanting to only stay at this hotel. It is convenient to everything there is to do at this beautiful location. Plus, the hotel itself is very clean with nice roomy beds and showers. Fresh linens and other amenities are supplied.
