Judging by my experience, The Woodward is simply superb. The staff could not have been friendlier and more accommodating. Their bonhomie and professionalism are exemplary. Also, the food at Le Jardinier was extraordinarily good. Every dish was a delicacy. And my suite was spacious, very comfortable, and carefully maintained.
Base Geneva is a new apartment hotel, very clean, staff friendly and helpful, close to train station/bus/tram and walking proximity to various Geneva site. The place has a gym, laundry and rooftop to enjoy a drink. Definitely if I return to Geneva and plan to stay here again. 👍
I have stayed in Geneva several times a year for many years, and found a new favorite here. The room - especially the bathroom! - was great; the front desk staff - especially Valentina! - was superlative; we loved the location; and we were delighted they were able to put us in our room right away when we arrived jet lagged at 9 am.
The location of the hotel is great, right on the lake, close to the water shuttle and good restaurants. The staff were helpful and nice. My only negative was the breakfast. The salmon and the lemon were dried up and the orange juice watery. We decided to pass on eating there.

I stayed on a higher floor (7th) and it was perfect with no discernible street noise. Tram nearly across the street from the hotel takes you right downtown Geneva. Was close enough to the Palexpo convention center that I walked there every day (about 1.4 mile walk through quiet streets to the back entrance of the convention center). The location of the property is perfect - straddling the old town and shopping district and a couple of minutes from the lake. It is a ten-minute walk from the train station and six-minute walk from the bus station. The property itself is spacious, quiet, and immaculate. Staff was helpful and the breakfast offered nice choices. Would absolutely stay here again next time we are in Geneva.
This is our favourite hotel in Europe to date. A lovely small luxury retreat. It’s a fifteen minute drive from Geneva airport. Stunning setting looking out over the golf course and mountains.
