The neighborhood strikes a perfect balance between working-class roots and hipster hangouts. The Milwaukee Art Museum's wings literally open and close daily, a mechanical ballet visible from Lake Michigan's shores. Summerfest transforms Henry W. Maier Festival Park into the world's largest music festival each summer. Discovery World combines science with Great Lakes lore in exhibits that fascinate all ages. The Historic Third Ward's warehouses now house galleries and restaurants instead of manufacturing. "A bit tired but generally nice"
The Brewhouse Inn & Suites
"This was one of the most unique properties that I have stayed at. It is in the old Pabst Blue Ribbon brewery. They did an excellent job on the remodel of the property, keeping as much as possible from the original brewery in the hotel decor. Rooms were big and had very high ceilings and large windows with an industrial type feel to the hotel and a lot of attention to detail. They also gave you a cup of Pabst when you check in, nice touch. On the 2nd floor they had the tops of several beer vats with videos of old advertisements, old photos, and info on PBR. There were meeting rooms, a nice sitting area, and even a stained glass window of St. Gambinus, the patron saint of beer! It was in a great location, near several sport arenas and is also walkable to the river walk area as well. They do have valet parking for around $40 a day but we parked in a secure parking garage in the next block for about $28 for 24 hours and it was very easy. Also the hotel restaurant was excellent. The fried cheese curds were the best I've ever had! The employees were awesome as well, very friendly and very helpful! They went out of their way to make you feel welcome! We really enjoyed our stay."

"Every staff member I interacted with was very friendly and made me feel welcome. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Mikwaukee in the future!"
Hilton Milwaukee
"Hotel was great"
Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Milwaukee
"The Hotel served its purpose in giving us a place to stay while we were in Milwaukee. The room was comfortable and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was not all that great. It seems as if there was only one person working on the days that we were there. The employee was definitely doing her job. She was cooking, brewing coffee, serving food and cleaning. There should have been help for her."
Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel
"I had an amazing stay! Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Food and drinks were Great!"
