Our friend recommended this place, and I’m glad they did. First, the property has a beautiful view. We especially enjoyed watching the sunrise over the lake. Our tent was very clean and well maintained, clearly high quality. I was impressed with the water pressure and temperature of the shower even in the tent. I wanted a hotel near the airport for my last night in Kigali after a few days of trekking. Zaria is one of the newer hotels, check in/out were very efficient and smooth. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, room was nice (everything worked flawlessly and bed was very comfortable) and the room service food was exactly what I wanted for my last night in Rwanda. I had previously stayed at the Radisson Blu Convention Center, and Zaria beats them hands down.

The staff is very friendly. The place is clean. David and Vanesa at the front desk are awesome. The food service (when you place your order and wait for the time to get served) is slow.
