"We rarely return to an accommodation we have stayed at but we are happy to make an exception for Kastri Hill. We love the spacious terrace with private pool, the wonderful staff, the impeccable cleanliness. Daily cleaning and pool maintenence keep it at a high standard for our entire stay.
A sandy beach and good tavernas are a short walk away and Palaikastro town, with ATM, pharmacy, minimarkets and veg shop is only a few km further.

"We were able to use this lovely hotel as a base to explore Vai Beach and surrounding areas, then Ierapetra the next day.
One thing I really like about the hotel is that they let you check in as early as noon, and not leave until noon.

Es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und viele Tavernen mit leckerem Essen. Es war rundum gelungen und wir werden sicher nocheinmal wiederkommen. Danke für alles."

Simply spectacular!!! We honestly didn't want to leave and would have booked an extra night; alas it was fully booked for the next three nights. So... if you see availability-- don't hesitate to book!

OMG we LOVED staying at Stella's traditional inn. It was so quaintl you felt like you were a guest in an old greek village home, with all the modern amenities. Eg: the bathroom light was an old revamped oil lamp. Water pressure, excellant and even loofah;s available; cool and breezy under pine tree shade when Kato Sakros was boiling, and All windows and door were with screens to protect from mosquitoes. It was so peaceful and quiet you could hear your thoughts and sunrise over the ocean view...
We received a very warm welcome by the owners. Although we arrived early they accommodated us and checked us in early. The breakfast was authentic and delicious! The rooms spacious and clean. And oh, the view Fantastic!!
I wish we could have stayed longer
Nice loft with high ceiling situated right by the port and the business district with many waterfront restaurants and shopping stores. It is also very close to the main bus station to Agios Nikolaos/Heraklion. The check-in process was very smooth and easy.
We absolutely loved the New Aurora Apartments. The rooms were super spacious, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we could need. The parking was easy as well. We were close to numerous cafes, shops and restaurants so didn’t have to go far for food etc. It was also a short walk to a lovely secluded beach. It is a definitely somewhere we would come back to in a heartbeat.
Very nice modern property. We had a balcony that overlooked the ocean . No air condition needed since there was a nice breeze if you let the balcony doors open. We did not have a parking problem . We had two cars that we could park in front of our apartment. If you want a peaceful and a quiet place this is your place !
Very nice clean and comfortable for a very good price, right across the street from the ocean. The only improvement I could recommend is get some shower curtains that are about 2 inches longer. The one in our room was too short to contain water in the shower stall, so the bathroom floor got all wet. But other than that, everything was great!
