"New hotel and great staff with lots of care to customers. The location is convenient with buses to the old town.
The only thing is the parking facility is limited but understandable for a popular tourist location."

If you like the hustle and bustle of a market, you might want to head out to Salzburg Christmas Market in City Centre Salzburg and take in the atmosphere. Splash some more cash at Getreidegasse and Linzer Gasse.
If you're planning a bit of sightseeing head to Mirabell Palace— just one of the monuments in City Centre Salzburg. You could also start your cultural experience by heading over to the museums in the area. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander.
If museums are on your list, you might want to check out the upcoming exhibitions at Mozart's Birthplace in City Centre Salzburg. Our travelers also like this historical area for its riverfront setting. If you want to see more of the museums in Salzburg, you can easily walk to Mozarts Wohnhaus Museum or Salzburg Museum.
Why not give yourself a treat with a trip to Mirabell Gardens, just one of the family attractions in central Salzburg. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. Want to stretch your legs some more? Head to Kapuzinerberg Hill, located nearby.
Salzkammergut is applauded for its live music and museums with such cultural attractions as Congress and Theatre House and Museum of Bad Ischl. This historical city has something for everyone including its castle, cafes, and sights like Imperial Villa and Park and Sommerrodelbahn Strobl am Wolfgangsee.
Amazing staff. Luxurious hotel. Free parking. Spacious room with a nice view of lake Fuschl (Grand Deluxe Room) if you can afford an upgrade definitely go with it. Spa facilities are a must try, they have an indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, as well as massage therapy. Dining is expensive as expected in such places. In short it was a great experience to stay in this castle if you have the opportunity to spend a couple of days here don't miss it.

Our stay from 17-20 May 2015 at the Schloss Hotel in Salzburg, Austria, was probably one of the best hotels we've stayed at. We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel so beautiful and picturesque. The front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff were absolutely customer oriented and very accommodating to our requests. The front desk made all of our tour reservations; they treated us like royalty!!!! The restaurant staff was superb; the food was delicious and very filling!! And, we...

This was an amazing apartment in central Salzburg that was walking distance to all nearby sites and shopping areas. The staff was amazing and very accommodating to changes in our schedule to support booking updates. Recommend this place for short or long terms stays in the city.

I have stayed at the Goldener Hirsch for the past 30 years The hotel and its staff never fail. Charming and comfortable, it is located in the midst of an active tourist area but absolutely quiet inside and completely safe outside. The staff listen carefully and exceed every request. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Salzburg.

Beautiful property. Awesome location. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff great too.
We had a problem with our first room. They tried to fix the tv and couldn’t, so they moved us to an upgraded room. However, when we got to that room- immediately we can hear the toilet running. So we say thanks but no.
Emma, at reception, was fantastic. She was really busy with other customers- but she managed to get us another room. Guess what- no internet… it’s an old building with lots of stucco.
