"The place was charming. I loved my room - very much a guest house, more like a B&B than a hotel, which is what I wanted. The small decanter of Scotch in the room and the shortbread biscuits were a delightful touch. While the location might seem less than than central, it was only a short and easy bus ride from central Edinburgh - though I preferred walking up Leith Walk into town, which has lots of cafes, pubs, bookstores, used record stores, etc. along it. Suited me down to the ground"
