"Located only a 2 minute walk from the main publicly accessible statues, very convenient. If you want to eat at a restaurant you can walk along the beach into town past several dining options.
The only downside is the very occasional power cuts in the evening of a hotter day but they were usually only 15 minutes at a time when we were there end of December so manageable.

"This is a very nice property. Before you think it’s on the pricey side, be advised that you’re not going to find any Ritz Carlton or Mandarin Oriental hotels on Easter Island. The Taha Thai is probably one of the top two or three hotels on the island, and the other two are very very expensive. This is an amazing property, and the restaurant is top-notch."
