Canton of Aargau Hotels

Excellent value for Switzerland. 5 minute walk to station with quick connections to Basel and 1 hour to Zurich. High quality furnishings and TV and spacious room.

We had a great stay. This hotel is beautiful in every regard and the people working there are very friendly.

Great location 3 minutes from airport by foot

What an incredible experience at this hotel! The staff were so helpful and friendly and extremely accommodating. I felt like I was staying with family. The room was wonderful - very clean, spacious enough (even with 3 of us sharing one room). The breakfast was so delicious and the restaurant is obviously a favorite of locals - it was always packed at dinner time. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and it's just 30 minutes from the Zurich airport.

Was an absolutely incredible place to stay, a wonderful home base. Breakfast was exceptional. Staff was so kind, and just a pleasure to be around. Thank you!!!

Hotel Spalentor offers a wonderful, well run place to stay in a perfect location for access to the old town or to get to the train station. Old school kind of place wheree they give you a physical key for your room but everything is clean as a whistle.

The hotel was very nice, located in central Basel. The only downside was that it, apparently like other recently renovated hotels, did not have air conditioning (and it was unseasonably hot in Basel.

Wonderful place! Great location- 10 minute walk from train station and 5 from Altstadt and shops, cafes and bars. Has a great garden bar area and dining room. It's Europe, has no a/c like many Europeanhotels- so in the Summer, bring fans and ask for one for your room.

Nice studio apartment in a quiet area of a quiet village. Well stocked with everything you may need and then some. Hosts were available for any questions or needs and live on the ground floor of the property. Great for a business trip, couples stay or small family. Would definitely return if the opportunity arrises.

Beautiful

Aarau is an adorable old walled city with a river running through it and the hotel is charming, but also completely renovated inside. Staff was super nice. Bottled water and breakfast was included.

This was trully great, everything was supper, the room, and the stqff was supper helpful, very nice environment. Strongly recommended

We were warmly welcomed by Sophia who was excellent in handling our check-in. We checked in bit late but nevertheless she was very helpful in giving us our keys very fast and guiding us to our room. We spent a very nice evening at their bar, ordered some food and then went to sleep. The room was excellent and is very spacious and the bathroom was very clean. We got up in the morning and went for a walk around the property and were amazed to discover a great wooden bridge right behind the...
