"Sam was very friendly and helpful with directions and info, parking was attached, our room was very quiet. This issue is not directed at this particular hotel, but why is there no place to put a towel near the shower. Shower was good size, but towel was across the room, and it is NOT safe to walk across to get a towel, when you are dripping wet. Who wants to put there towel on the floor so it is close and then use it to dry off. We have encountered this in numerous hotels and it’s quite aggravating. Evidently designers never stay in hotels."

"The best part was Elliot’s Grill and Bar on premises. Quiet property until you open the door to the grill - wow! Full of people, laughing and socializing, $7 large mixed drinks, such a friendly and lively place! Room was clean and sufficient, not luxurious but fine. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. This is the place to stay if you are visiting the New River Gorge area of WV. "

"We stopped overnight at this property which is right off the highway in the center of Summersville so very convenient. Lisa waited on us at the reception desk and was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean and quiet with plenty of towels. Breakfast started early at 6 am and had many options and all were fresh. "
