"I really enjoyed my visit here. It was very quiet, clean and the view from the lodge was so lovely! The food at the lodge was good and reasonably priced. There were several good hikes that were accessible from the lodge. "

"Breakfast was good! Room was clean. Didn’t use any of the other amenities so not sure if they were good or not. But great location right off the interstate with lots of stuff around it!"

"The room itself was fine, and location is convenient to I-40. I had read the reviews prior to booking that said the breakfast was good. The breakfast was basically just pre-packaged items, grape juice, and coffee. It does not take much to have toast or bagels and a toaster, but that was not provided."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Based on the price, I expected a run-down, dirty place that we would barely tolerate. Instead, it was clean, well-maintained, well-furnished, and totally comfortable. Even their coffee was good. I would not hesitate to recommend this lodging place to anyone! (And you can buy your own breakfast nearby with what you save--and have cash leftover!)"

"I did not stay there, front people didn’t let me check in "

"I loved the large window facing the woods at the end of the cabin. We left the shade open and layed in bed and looked at the stars, then the sunrise in the morning. It was beautiful. Unique but delicious "pour over coffee" provided with snacks and little mini s'more kits and they came by each day to see if we needed more as well as for wood. We unfortunately had an illness in the family and had to cut our stay a day short. No toaster or oven so we made skillet toast for breakfast. No microwave either."

"DO NOT STAY IN THE FRONT SIDE! The rooms that face the street are extremely loud because of traffic that continues until after midnight and, in my experience started up again at 4 AM. I had a grand total of four hours of sleep the first night! I insisted on being moved which they did accommodate me. However, they charged me more to move to a quiet room on the backside of the building."

"The staff, the food and the location were superb. The shower was filthy and our bed literally sunk in the middle. For the price of my stay I’m pretty bummed out. Also very disappointed that we could not use the smart tv for streaming. I spent almost an hour trying to figure that out. Considering the room was nearly $400 for 2 days I would choose another option next time. "
