Royal Park Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property and lovely rooms. Staff very helpful but I had an issue with being charged for my room even though it was prepaid via Expedia. It took four phone calls to get the correct person to take care of the issue after I checked out. This probably isn’t a normal issue for most guests. There is free coffee in room which is best to use as the hotel restaurant was understaffed so best to relax and don’t expect to rush through breakfast.
Housekeeping was on point and room was immaculate."
"Hallway smelled horrible. Obviously ppl were cooking in their rooms. Shower rod had been pulled down and there were rotten spots in the wall around the tub where water had gotten into the sheet rock. And of course there was mold.
Ceiling tiles in the hallway falling down and broken.
We checked our immediately."
"The hotel seems new and the staff is so friendly. My first room was not clean when I went in, however I went to the front desk and he immediately got me into another room. The second room was clean but the shower door did not shut all the way and the sink did not drain well. Once again, I brought it up to the staff and they were crazy friendly about trying to get it fixed. I declined a maintenance visit but they did offer it over and over again. The front line staff is amazing but the people that clean the rooms need some attention."
"No ice machine. That would have been nice to know before our arrival. Only two thin and flat pillows in the room. Room was clean except for the pube in the toilet. The woman at the front desk was friendly. Overall it was a good stay. Even though there were a lot of people staying there for a concert down the street, it was surprisingly quiet. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area. "
"Maria the night time receptionist is extremely rude and unprofessional. I had to have my room changed 3x. First room had an AC blowing hot air.2nd room the lights did not work at all. 3rd the A"
