"The Copal Tree Lodge was fantastic. The rooms were extremely well taken care of and updated. The staff was professional, knowledgeable about not only the hotel but Belize culture which was really very interesting. We enjoyed learning about Belize from the staff. We loved the ease of booking excursions there at the hotel. It was my birthday and the staff, specifically Nate, Karen, Ducky, and Juan treated me like a queen. My birthday celebration was so special thanks to the staff. My husband and I are coming back to this beautiful beautiful lodge. The only negative was we only saw one monkey and didn't get to see the Toucan. So we are coming back to see these as soon as possible."

"The room overlooked both the pool and the beach, and the sunrise was amazing each morning. Breakfast was really good with different options, and included two different juice types that changed daily. Also coffee and ice water. The staff was very attentive to our needs, booking massages, golf cart rentals, and outings. Would 11/10 recommend this hotel. "

"We loved our stay at Azure del Mar. It is a small hotel and the staff are really wonderful. The restaurant view can't be beat and the food was delicious. Our room was great and the vibe at the resort is relaxed and peaceful. We were very comfortable and glad we stayed, even though the seaweed was in full bloom (all over the Caribbean coast). We would definitely recommend this hotel and the treehouse suite is great for families. "

"The bar next door is no small one. The music is loud and really energizing until midnight and no earlier whichever night. We had the cabin the closest and didn’t bother trying to sleep before midnight. The cabin is really nice, perfect with AC and the size was nice for two people. We cooked a lot and there were not a lot of ustensiles but we managed. The patio with the view and hammock was our highlight."

"Me and my wife had a great experience at the Belizean Nirvana. The apartment had everything that you could ask for or need. The staff were attentive to all or our needs. The grounds were well kept with scenic views of the ocean. Would definitely return and refer family and friends that travel to Placencia."

"We had a very nice stay in the Manatee room, which was very spacious and well appointed; the room was much nicer in person than shown in the online pictures - a nice treat. There was a nice roomy balcony overlooking the beach / water. The room had a full kitchen that was very functional and there was a Publix grocery store a short taxi / car ride away. The on property restaurant had several good fish dishes and a variety of breakfast offerings. The staff were all polite and helpful during our stay. Recommended if you are looking for a “Caribbean rustic” stay on the beach. "

"We had a lovely stay and would go back again! The food was great, the staff and customer service was excellent, and our room was lovely! The concierge helped us with everything we needed and all our questions promptly. I loved that the room had extra touches like an essential oil diffuser, robes, and microfiber hair towel. I especially like that the hotel was more quaint with less volume than some of the larger options, we prefer a quieter stay overall!"

"Very convenient , right next to pool and view of the ocean from your bed. Rooms are exceptional and meticulously clean. Staff are very friendly. Restaurants and food excellent. Very unique and beautiful pool."
