"Swimming pool was closed (not informed beforehand). Half the equipment in the gym did not work (3 treadmills all out of order). The Chinese restaurant on site was closed every day during our stay (Thurs-Sat). The all-day coffee shop was barely staffed. The bar was never open. The air conditioning did not work. This hotel promises a lot but delivered a very poor experience. "

"During my recent stay at Wanda Vista Hohhot, I was disappointed by several aspects of the experience. The staff was notably unfriendly and appeared either unable or unwilling to communicate in English, which made resolving issues difficult. Although I was assigned to a non-smoking floor, some guests were smoking in their rooms. Shockingly, despite this being against hotel policy, the staff did not address the issue for an entire week. It was only after escalating the matter through Hotels.com that any action was taken. This lack of responsiveness and enforcement of rules significantly impacted my comfort during the stay. I would not recommend this hotel to others seeking a stress-free and accommodating experience. It falls far below the expectations of quality and service that travelers deserve."
