Hotel Royal Passeig de Gracia
4/10 Poor
"The hotel is in a great location and has been recently renovated, which gives it a modern feel. However, the rooms were disappointing — the walls are very thin, making it easy to hear noise from neighbouring rooms. There was also no proper window, only a small one facing the patio, which made the room feel quite enclosed. The terrace was much smaller than expected and overall felt overrated for the price. I also didn't receive VIP offering that was promised at the time of booking!"
"The bar offered a great selection and the service was incredible. Front staff made it easy for us to check In and out and helped us with the may questions we had "
"The Seven Barcelona has an excellent location, the breakfast was wonderful, and the hotel itself is very clean and beautiful. However, both my daughters’ room and our room had a problem with the bathroom door — it would not close properly, so it was difficult to feel comfortable using the toilet. The shower area is also in the same space, which made it inconvenient.
In addition, the lighting in the room was not practical. It was not possible to turn on just a small light at night. The only option was either all the lights on or completely dark. I enjoy quietly reading at night when I travel, so it was disappointing that there was no suitable bedside or adjustable lighting.
Overall, the hotel is lovely, but these issues made the stay less comfortable than expected."
"The hotel was very easy to find, rooms clean and extremely helpful staff. The downside was the elevators extremely small, terrace was in a resteraunt not ran by hotel so no access for hotel guests, and no shuttle as advertised by Expedia. I stayed with my sister who loved this hotel. I have to be honest for future travelers, the cost was $325 Euros and I felt that we could have gotten a comparable hotel for much less with more amenities. "
