Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Split
8/10 Good
"The hotel was lovely but we were disappointed by the near by construction work and noise and would like to have known our room would be impacted before we booked.
All staff were great, breakfast was good, buffet was nice although pricey and we were told they ‘didn’t have tap water’! Given we were ordering other drinks we didn’t think it was a big ask!
There is a complimentary bus into Split, the staff also were helpful before our stay in recommending a tour operator that would pick us up from the hotel. This was great for the early starts we had visiting Plitvice and Dubrovnik.
We used the airport pick up service (65 euros each for 2 people each way), uber would have been a lot cheaper and I think a normal taxi too in hindsight.
Overall though, we had a great stay and I would recommend it but try to avoid the room in old building."
"Perfect location!! 11/10!! They staff was also incredibly friendly! Just know what you are getting. It is a restaurant that has rooms above it. You check into the restaurant to get your key. There is an elevator and a basic room. Nothing fancy. The location is amazing. We saw the water from the bay out our window. We were in old town and could walk everywhere! Plus, you order amazing breakfast off their menu (it is a restaurant). We would stay here every time!"
"Lovely guesthouse with beautiful ship decor and rustic brick walls. Provided coffee and tea amenities which were useful in the morning. You can see the sunrise from the window.
The room was spacious for 2 people and the most comfortable bed I have ever found in a hotel.
The guesthouse is in the center of everything. Highly recommend if you are visiting Split."
"Housed in the exquisite “Nakić Palace”, and exemplar of Art Nouveau architecture, this hotel is ideally located on a picturesque square near the Riva (waterfront). It was a perfect place to stay for while awaiting a transfer to the Adriatic islands. This hotel is where you want to be…near Diocletian’s Palace, restaurants, shops, nightlife, and the ferry port. Highly recommend!"
