Koloa Landing Resort at Poipu, Autograph Collection
10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean, bed was comfy, and the AC worked great! Having an in-room washer/dryer was a great bonus, too! Overall, the Kōloa Landing property was great, and there were plenty of great restaurant options within walking distance (the on-site restaurant and marketplace were solid as well). We wouldn’t hesitate to come back anytime we’re in Kaua’i!"
"Clean spacious rooms with full kitchen and bathrooms. Very good location not far from Shipwreck beach and Poipu beach. Convenient parking. Cool winds and good views. "
"Perfect stay. From check in we were given Hawaiian leis and had a wonderful overview by a staff member. Rooms were clean and quiet and beds comfortable. Housekeeping regularly cleaned each day. The pool and bar was perfect for relaxing. The ocean view was incredible with people surfing every day right in front of the resort. Valet parking was always quick and friendly. We would stay again in a heartbeat!"
"Excellent location, perfect views, great swimming pools and poolside service. The mahi mahi tacos at Lavas were fabulous. Housekeeping staff are excellent and attentive. This property is aging well, not as fancy as the Grand Hyatt, so it’s more affordable and less pretentious. "
"The best location on the coast. Friendly staff. A botanical garden right on the property! Plenty of working grills make it easy to cook lunch or dinner. Just 200 meters from the hotel is a beach with a large population of turtles; it's so cute to watch them. We highly recommend it! "
"The property was well kept and the adjacent beach was a draw for beginner surfers. It wasn’t flat so not a lot of area to spread out chairs.
You need to be aware that each unit is different. Ours was carpeted which was unusual for a beach property.
There was no AC in the unit (standard at this resort) and it was quite humid at the end of September. We requested a box fan for the room which was a life saver.
Our unit did not have any grilling tools for the Barbq
and there were no xtras to borrow which was a challenge. Supposedly this is the responsibility of the unit owner.
The units furthest from the beach (a few mins walk away) are close to the main road which can be noisy in the morning and evening if you are a light sleeper. On the positive side they are closer to walking over to the Poipu shopping Center and the pool complex. There is a X walk right outside the resort entrance."
