"This is the most elegant old building in Boston's historic Beacon Hill. Like being taken back in time, yet with an amazing modern kitchenette and bathroom"
"Our spacious room amenities were amazing! All the usual plus a loofa, bath salts, slippers, fabulous terry robe, hand steamer for clothes, espresso machine, refrigerator, assorted care products like shower cap, cotton pads, q-tips, sewing kit, and more that I can’t remember. It was such a luxurious experience. I will be back and I highly recommend this hotel for its phenomenal location."
"The location was fantastic for all things Boston! It was a very walkable location and such a comfortable room and a very friendly staff that was very helpful."
"Beautiful hotel, great location. Courteous and professional staff. Very convenient/walkable to Newbury Street and its surrounding areas. Overall great stay in the Boston area."
"Great location near hospitals restaurants Cambridge and river. Parking expensive but convenient. Rooms are new and good amenities throughout. Attentive staff and solid breakfast and room service. Good stay worth the money"
"Great location. Right on the Freedom Trail. Across from Kings Chapel. Staff was awesome. Most attractions less than a mile walk. We took our older kids(23 and 19) who love history. Very walkable location. Highly recommend"
"Location was fabulous for being in the center of historic Boston. Close to the Garden, North End, Seaport, Faneuil Hall and of course the Freedom Trail! "
"Uniquely situated to look over the harbor or the city. Beautiful view of the city at night from the highest floors. We requested a change from the lower floors and were kindly granted the change."
"Easy check in, a very clean room, very comfortable bed and great shower. Great location! The breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent !!"

"Hotel was in the perfect location. Just steps from the T and walking distance to a bunch of different stops around Boston. The staff were extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and things to do! We will definitely be back."
"As a native Bostonian. I knew this location was very central for traveling into town via Amtrak, as it's an easy 5 minute walk from Back Bay Station. It is also a short 4 or 5 minute walk to the MBTA Green Line Copley stop. Very convenient for anybody in town for touring the city, with Boylston Street one block away for food options etc."
"Perfect spot just steps away from the main attractions, paired with outstanding service. The entire team was incredibly friendly and professional from the moment we arrived. A truly memorable stay!"

If you want to see a show while you're in town, try and grab some tickets at Hatch Shell in Beacon Hill. If you enjoy the show and want to see another, Colonial Theatre, Citizens Opera House, and Boch Center are not far.

Museum of African American History is just one of the attractions in Beacon Hill, Boston so you might want to stop by during your trip. If you want to experience more of the culture Boston has to offer, head to Boston Common, Fenway Park, and Harvard University.
We found so much charm in this building built in 1901. Great that they saved the old brick and humongous wooden beams. The laminate floors in the room feel brand new. Loved the kitchen
and two TV's. Nice service offered where you can leave a shopping list and they'll stock your fridge.
We thought 72 degrees was rather cool but were able to adjust easily. There are a few cool vegan friendly restaurants in a one block radius that the concierge did not know about - Green something (adjacent to...
This was our second time staying here. The room is not huge but has enough storage like drawers under the bed. We got lucky again to get checked in super early which was much appreciated after taking a cross country red-eye flight. The gym at the basement is well equipped. Front desk staff are friendly & very welcoming. I’d highly recommend this place!!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The little extras like the waters and snacks in the hallway were such a nice touch. It feels like this place cares about you actually coming back.
The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 8am even though check in wasn't until 3pm and they gave us a room regardless. They let us check out late because we had a late flight as well. The room was exceptional - clean and comfortable - with a gas fireplace, stock bar, and other wonderful amenities. We will stay here again without a doubt.
Overall we had a wonderful stay, the hotel is super cute and very clean! They have a restaurant attached which is super convenient as well as a 7/11 on the concern. It’s less than a 1 min walk from the train station and very easy to get too from the airport. It’s very central to everything in the north end and near a lot of tourist attractions. Would 10/10 recommend. Very walkable city!
Perfect location in Boston's North End. On the water with beautiful of historic Boston Harbor, it even has outdoor dining options. The Grill is excellent, offering a varied menu fastidiously prepared.
The location is also convenient to Logan International Airport; just five minutes away. This has been my go-to hotel in Boston for almost a decade.
The hotel has a fully functional restaurant. The food was of good quality and at good prices. The staff were friendly and amazing. The location was perfect, too. It is an old hotel, but it was perfect.
Nice little boutique hotel. Small room is trade off for being super close to Boston Common, tons of restaurants, and river trails. 20 minute walk to Fenway was big plus. On foot was best way to get there.
The Bostonian is convenient to everything we wanted to visit and do. Across from Faneuil Hall Marketplace, this hotel is in the center of it all. Lots of restaurants nearby, shopping, tourist destinations, you name it! From the bell men to the front desk and many other staff at the hotel and in the restaurant, they all make you feel welcome and valued.
The reception was incredibly friendly. After being taken to our room, the front desk called within 30 minutes to ensure everything was to our liking and asked if we were in need of anything.
Amazing hotel;especially for the price. Upon pulling up to The Godfrey we were met by the parking valet and doorman who helped us with our luggage. They were friendly and helpful with the Porter explaining if we needed any help with advice, etc he was available. The Valet advised us of the parking procedure and the cost (we knew it was an expensive $60/day but were not going traipse around the city looking for parking). We went into the well-appointed modern lobby and immediately greeted by the...
