Great location with good parking. I enjoyed the walk to Beacon Park and Grandview beach access points. (Both have long steep descents; people with mobility challenges may need to drive to get to easier access.) Nice clean room with kitchenette. Friendly staff.
The place was great. We stayed for 6 nights. The room had a king sized bed and a couch. It had a desk, 2 nightstands with reading lights. The vanity was big. It had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room was clean and had plenty of towels. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the elevator worked fine. The pool and jacuzzi were relaxing. Free breakfast from 6:30-9:30am was a nice spread. Eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles. Yogurt, fresh fruit and much more.

The Moonlight Beach Motel has been nicely updated recently and the view from the deluxe double room was amazing! There are no frills but has what you need including coffee maker, mini fridge & microwave & you can beat how close to the beach it is. It is very clean & well kept and Jordan at the front desk is very nice & helpful. I will stay here again.
- The hot breakfast (which I didn't know it was included in mine) was awesome. They had egg-based meal, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, bread, orange juice, and more (and yes, everything was hot and delicious)
- Parking (self-covered) will be just $10, which I think is a really reasonable price.
- The place is quiet and safe. In front of the place there are two gas stations; both walkable. I arrived at the hotel late and went there like 10PM but never felt unsafe.

Our stay was awesome!! Very convenient location to Legoland which was the purpose of our stay. The hotel was very clean and the fireplace in the lobby was so inviting. Check in was great. The room was fantastic. It had a sitting area as well as the sleeping area. Beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was great to start our day off. The absolute QUIETEST hotel we have EVER stayed in, and the place was full of kids! Same exit as LegoLand so we expected kids and it to be loud. We stayed for an entire week and never heard anything! This little gem sits right on the beach and is PERFECT! I stayed with my two daughters and we plan to go back as soon as possible. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was within walking distance of everything. Our stay included free wifi, parking, and breakfast (I think this is the norm for all stays). As for the beach, there are complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and boogie boards. So fun! You won't regret choosing this hotel!

Every year we look forward on what city we are going to visit for our golf anniversary trip. This year we decided on Carlsbad CA, at the hotel we were grated by (Manny) at the front desk, very friendly, accommodating and with such great service 100% thumbs up. As every parent knows, traveling with young children isn’t easy. Finding a reliable place to stay with child-friendly amenities is among the most significant obstacles.
