The hotel is not new and shows its age, but it is really good by local standards. The general neighborhood is also safe and vibrant, and includes plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walk. "We loved our stay at the Regent, which is clean, modern, quiet, and has all the amenities. It is ideally located in Mumbai. ALL the staff were extremely helpful and courteous, from the doorman to dining, reception, and room services. There was nothing lacking, and the overall experience was five-star plus."
