"We had an amazing stay at Excellence Playa Mujeres in Mexico and would absolutely come back again. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel completely at ease. The property itself is beautiful—well-maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a relaxing atmosphere that really lets you unwind."

"Resort is beautiful & very clean! The rooms are large and the bed was comfortable. We opted for the “Elite Club” access, but not sure it was totally worth the extra cost or even necessary. I will say that if you are looking for a “quiet/laid back” pool atmosphere the EC pool & pool bar is exactly that & might be worth the extra money. We never had any issues getting into any of the the restaurants, which seemed to be the case whether you were an Elite Club member or not. We felt our best meal was the one night we took advantage of the private EC restaurant, but all of the food options were very good. Biggest issue for us was the limited hours for the restaurants, with the exception of the buffet. Keep in mind that the very large buffet or the pool grill (hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken) are the only lunch options offered."

"The location of the hotel by the beach is good. It is however across from a water treatment plant so the smells at the front of the hotel especially at nights was terrible at times. The food is mediocre at best, but the grounds and rooms are clean and maintained well. It is a decent place to stay but lacks activities after hours and does not offer room service. The pools are small but were never overcrowded."
