Have stayed here often over the years but not recently until this stay, the upgrades to rooms and AC are outstanding and the whole place has been upgraded. For those coming from afar there are THREE ABC stores a phenom in Hawaii, within a few hundred yards of the Hotel meaning you could come with nothing and up to 11pm we well equipped for your stay. Great location. Only con is that it has only a splash pool but it is a great place to relax

I like that this property is so close to the beach and shopping area. The gym and laundry facilities located on the same floor was convenient. I was able to work out while waiting for the laundry to be done. The manager’s reception with live music and the breakfast with miso soup daily sweet fresh pineapple were really enjoyable. Everything felt great but I would recommend adding a few small items to the breakfast. On the website it looked like there would be bagels and juice options and fruit but all there were was croissants and chocolate muffins and then cereal which doesn’t really give a full continental breakfast set up. Was very disappointed in that since that’s partially why I booked a stay here, the breakfast. But other than that everything was good

We loved the space the space, lobby and in was convenient to the city bus route which was how we got around the city.

This hotel was perfect for our little stay. We specifically did not want to stay in Waikiki, and this was the perfect distance away. We could still walk to the Waikiki area, but felt like we were in a quite neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel room was a suite, and we were not expecting that. This condo was exceptional very well kept and everything was in walking distance me my wife and daughter enjoyed our stay here the view from the balcony of the ocean and mountains was awesome we will definitely stay here again.

Only thing that was inconvenient is they shut off water for a couple hours a couple days.

Lovely rooms with Kitchenette. Close to public transportation and shopping. Front desk helped us with all our needs. They were terrific!

The location is the apartment is perfect, most of the places were at working distance. I really like my stay and for sure I will return

This was my second time to book in this hotel in our recent trip to Hawaii. First reason is that it's close to the airport and second they had a free airport shuttle which is super convenient. It saved us some money because we just had to return the rental car a day early because we didn't need to drive to the airport. Shuttle drivers were very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was sufficient enough to start the day. Overall, I would stay again the next time we go back to Hawaii. Mahalo!

Great place to stay and lots to do nearby

Staff was great. Definitely pay the $40 for nightly parking on Sunday and Thursday nights so you don’t get towed on Ala Wai Blvd. Great room location was walkable. We payed a little more to have the executive suite and it was well worth it. We will definitely be back.

They treated us like royalty. Private, beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer. The way the resort is set up its as though the beach is private, even though all public beaches in Hawaii are public. All of the staff knew my name, even those I hadn't talked to. All of the staff was great. The manager of Hoku's was the best.

This is my new favorite hotel in Waikiki! If you’re looking for a smaller hotel that isn’t a big resort, this is a GREAT option! Newly renovated less than 2yrs ago so everything is new, it’s clean, the staff is amazing, the rooftop pool is nice and has good views, the Heavenly restaurant downstairs has AMAZING breakfast! … I can’t say enough good things about my stay here. I’ll be back next visit!
