They even made us a take away breakfast bag because our flight was early on leaving. We have not had this kind of dedicated service in the USA for years . This hotel is gorgeous, super clean, and perfectly located. The beds, pillows, and linens are luxurious, providing a true 5-star experience during our 5-night stay. We enjoyed drinks on the rooftop with stunning views of Plaza del Armas, and the pizza was delicious! Highly recommended! Tip: If you use the laundry service, be sure to separate your darks from whites, as they wash everything together.

We loved our stay at Palacio Guaqui, definitely a gem in Arequipa, it felt like you were in a sanctuary, very peaceful . The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had an amazing experience!
Great location, close to many restaurants and bars. About 2 blocks from the plaza. The rooms all face inside so you can’t open window for ventilation. There was no AC. We asked for a fan and that helped a lot. It was quiet and they held our luggage before snd after check in/out. Would recommend.

We stayed three nights in this hotel while in the Arequipa area, and were very happy with the overall experience. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which are really our two main needs while traveling. Because the hotel was only a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas the level of noise was a little higher at night than we would have liked, but that is a tradeoff that we expected and were ready for. There was a misunderstanding on booking on my part as I was not sure what days I would stay in Arequipa, The staff bent over backwards to a accommodate me and help me out. The place is really nice and close to points of interest.
The hotel is right in the middle of Arequipa’s scene of best restaurants and steps from Plaza de Armas. For the evening out you cannot be more central. The historic building is very nice and you feel in the middle of everything right oposite the monastery.
