Very nice and charming little hotel run by two ladies. I received a nice big room which was absolutely clean. The bed was excellent and the blinds made the room dark enough at night to have a very good sleep. I loved the breakfast, fresh and tasty food, eggs + a lot of cold items to choose from. One day I was the only guest having breakfast (it was still low season), and I received a very rich collection of items to my table, I was absolutely satisfied with it. AMAZING! This is a 5 star boutique hotel masquerading as a 4 star hotel. This was our first trip to Berlin from NYC for 4 days. The hotel is located in the transitional, hip gay friendly Kreuzberg neighborhood. It felt chill and relaxed away from the tourist hoards in Mitte. This is definitely one of my best experiences in traveling to Europe. What a beautiful setting, convenient and so close to all of the museums and attractions. You can walk over to fine restaurants, concerts and art exhibitions at the Museum Island. The weather was perfect in August. The city is full of history, art and culture. The people were so friendly wherever we went, and the food was exquisite just about any restaurant the we ate.

A wonderfully comfortable, crisp and contemporary hotel—easily accessible to everything in Berlin by virtue of its location near the main train station….also via a pleasant walk along the banks of the Spree River into the heart of Mitte. Value, style, and practicality make this hotel a new favorite for me.

We stayed at Hotel am Steinplatz for a week. The Hotel is great, great location, Great Breakfast, restaurant and Bar. The staff are very helpful and they were always ready to help us with anything we needed. The Hotel itself has a great story and it's where most of the famous German actors were staying and had their parties. The hotel is right next to the train station and 10 minutes walk to main attractions in Berlin.

Great option if you don't need the extra frills, in a fantastic location. The hotel is solid and clean. Beds are comfy and there is good light in the room. Bathrooms are a bit small but neat, with good water pressure. Most importantly the hotel is in a fantastic location in Mitte, with lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance, great for a business or leisure trip to Berlin.

We only stayed one evening, but the hotel was convenient to the Hbf and metro and easily walkable to dining and shopping. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The hotel staff were accommodating with luggage storage when we needed it after checkout. Would stay at this property again.
