You can stroll along Port of Split for relaxing water views when you're in Bacvice. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. If you carry on walking you'll get to Bacvice Beach and Split Marina for some more water views.
If being by the water is a major draw, Trstenik Beach is a spot you might want to check out, located 1.3 mi (2.2 km) from central Split. Catch the sunset by the shore at Žnjan Beach and Bacvice Beach, located nearby.
If you’re going to visit Split, you should consider just one place to stay. This place has it all. Location, great service, nearby parking, stunning views, and a staff that is beyond. Jan was a perfect tour guide and host. Ana was always there with great directions and a smile. The breakfast was lovely and ample. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Highly recommended ***** + * = 6!!
I NEVER write reviews but felt I had to write one for this new family-run hotel. What a delightful experience! My father has Parkinson's Disease, and this will probably be his last trip abroad. I had to find a hotel that could accommodate his disability (he has to use a walker). You won't find a better place to stay in Split. They were all so welcoming and gave us some welcome grappa as well as detailed information of restaurants and activities. It was close, walking distance if able, but...
The service level is amazing from the reception to the management team everyone excels ! The infrastructure of the hotel and look and feels are really at the boutique level. Owners were extremely helpful and friendly, even when we arrived late and had trouble finding the hotel. Very attentive and gave us wonderful suggestions for stops along the way when we continued our road trip to Dubrovnik.
Super nice staff with a range of spotless, well-renovated apartments. Fairly close to everything, but quiet and away from the old city's crowds. Super helpful staff and the personal touch that made it a great baser for our short stay in Split. Not my favorite place to visit in Croatia, but if I ever went back, I'd be happy to stay there again.

Amazing hotel with the best service ever. Great location close to the beach and 8 minute walk to downtown Split. Brand new so everything top notch. Comfortable beds, extra large bathroom with toilet (with all Occitane products) and another separate toilet. Balcony with a sea view and we chose a room with the jacuzzi which was an added bonus since it was too cold to use the infinity pool. Lovely sauna!! Everything was perfect and I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Delicious...
The staff were very helpful and kind, and they even let me check in at 10:30 in the morning when I arrived. The room was very large with everything you could want or need. The property was close to the beach and an easy walk to the Riva. I also appreciate that the restaurant marked dishes as gluten free; it was one of the only ones in Split I found to do that.
The room was very nice and clean. A very nice outdoor patio with table and chairs. Shower had great water pressure and heat. Location was walking distance to port, bus station, palace, and beaches.
The apartment was perfect, updated, clean, stocked and very comfortable. Felt very safe and it was in quiet surrounding, slept so well. BONUS, the apartment is 1-2 minutes away from 2 local grocery stores, a fruit stand, and bakery. Location was also within 10–20-minute walk to anything in old town, Split, Croatia; including promenade, pier for boat tour, bus pick up for tours, restaurants, palace, shopping, etc. We did not need to rent a car, our legs took us everywhere.

Hostess was amazing. Property very clean. Good working AC. We only stayed one night so didn’t use the kitchen area but definitely a very nice place. We found it easy from the port and close to markets and restaurants.
The building looks old but the apartment is amazing renovated. It is 15 minutes walk to old town. It is a safe area to walk around and it is 8 minutes walk to the beach, which is by Park Hotel. I would surely rebook at this apartment again if i come back to visit Split
Beautiful well-kept modern hotel. Breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious with nice long hours to suit your schedule. Location was lovely - tucked into a nice neighborhood and near a beach, but an easy walk to central Split sights. Beautiful roof top pool with great views and sunsets!
