A wonderful place that feels more like staying in someone’s beautiful country home than a hotel. The gardens are full of flowers, fruit and vegetables, much of which ends up on your plate. From our window we looked out onto flowers, cows quietly munching the grass, and the mountains beyond. It was quite magical.
The food is excellent and the whole place has a wonderfully peaceful, unhurried atmosphere. The staff could not be kinder or more helpful, with a special mention for Chorula at reception, who looked after us so warmly.
It is a little outside Leh, so you need transportation to get around, but that is also part of its charm. If you want to slow down, relax and enjoy Ladakh, it is a very special place.
