The description of the accommodation and service provided was quite misleading; the property feels old and tired, it does not appear to have been “upgraded regularly” as described.
Parking is very difficult, with a single narrow drive and ‘first in, last out’ the only possibility.
Although Expedia stated it was necessary to call at least 48 hours before arrival to make arrangements for check in, I made many calls to the number given none of which were answered, most times the mail box was full and I was unable to leave a message, and when I eventually did leave a message I didn't received a reply so wasn’t sure if my booking was assured.
The separate, not en-suite, bathroom was cramped and very old, although it did have a recent electric shower fitted, there were no “bathroom complimentary packs”.
There were no tea and coffee making facilities in my room.
The breakfast was anything but “English”as indicated by the photo in the description.
The “newly equipped gym” consisted of three pieces of equipment, folded and tucked away in the corner of the dining room.
All in all, a very disappointing experience, not value for money. I would not recommend this accommodation.
