Overall, not a bad place to stay in Calafate. The property has Wi-Fi (with Netflix built-in to TV) which was good when we were tired from travelling, if not quite patchy in service. The bed was large and comfy, plenty of space and decent location.
Positives:
- friendly welcome. We were given a walkthrough of the accommodation by the owner which, despite the language barrier, was clear and helpful.
- good location close to the bus station. No real need to get a taxi as you can walk there in less than 10 minutes from the bus station (beware the gravel roads if you have suitcases!). Also, a fairly short walk into Calafate main town area, which meant a fairly quiet and peaceful location to rest, but still had a couple of good restaurants nearby.
Negatives:
- generally seemed a little worn out e.g. some slightly dodgy wiring on the plug sockets, cracked window pane, leaky shower.
Nothing majorly wrong and I'd probably recommend to others.
