Una cabaña aislada de la ciudad hay unas cuatro y otra mas grande donde viven los.dueños,con un paisaje de ensueño,con todo lo necesario para pasar unos dias increibles,el personal es amable y empatico ,tuvimos que salir mas tarde de la hora prevista por inclemencias del tiempo.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ásgeirsstaðir Cottages!! We wish we could have stayed more than just a night, but we had to move along to our next destination. The cottage was perfectly equipped with everything one might need. The beds were comfortable, there was a cozy living room and dining area, and our particular cabin was at the end of the road on the edge of a beautiful lupine patch. This was the perfect place to relax after a day of driving. We opened the windows and listened to the sound of the stream behind the cottage. The blackout curtains were very good as well! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Very spacious cottage with an equipped kitchen. Hosts were responsive. We stayed overnight during a bag storm and everything worked well including wifi. Shower pressure was very good too. Would recommend a deeper cleaning.

Misleading Listing, Wrong Cabin, and Too Many Spiders and Flies Extremely disappointing experience. I strongly advise future guests to think twice before booking this property. I specifically booked a Standard Cabin, advertised with a beautiful natural wooden interior. However, I was given a completely different Basic Cabin with a white-painted interior. These are clearly two different room types. This was not a minor difference between the listing photos and reality. The property did not provide the accommodation I booked and paid for. To make matters worse, there were an excessive number of spiders and flies at the accommodation. The sheer number of insects made the stay extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable. This was another major disappointment on top of being assigned the wrong cabin. Even more concerning, the Standard Cabin has since disappeared from the property's Hotels.com listing, while the original wooden-interior one-bedroom cabin is still being advertised on other booking platforms. This raises serious concerns about the honesty and transparency of this property. I find it completely unacceptable to advertise one type of accommodation and then provide guests with a different one. Between the misleading room listing, the large number of spiders and flies, and the property's questionable handling of its listings, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I

We booked this place so that we would be close to the puffin colony. We were lucky to get a newer cabin and it was quite nice. Much more spacious than the hotels we had been staying in. We got carry out from the Salt restaurant and enjoyed our meal at the cabin. Nice and quiet place with a view.

This cottage was the perfect place to stop and recharge during our ring road trip! Tucked away and well-kept with all of the necessary amenities. The place provided peaceful privacy, despite being just a 10 min drive from Egilsstadir. Clear communication from the owners as well, with the cottage being ready for us at just the right time.

Having an outdoor grill was fantastic. Could not figure out how to use the cook top. The hardness of the bed made sleeping difficult. The cottage was spacious. Took a pleasant walk from the cabin towards the hills.

My car stuck into the snow and ice followed GPS 😑. Finally, survive from the bad conditions of off road. I have to report to Google.
