Magnifique trouvaille

Beautiful hotel and surroundings

This was a very nice hotel. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. Very romantic if you are having a couples vacation. Nice and good restaurant nearby. The spa, indoor and outdoors was amazing. Clean lobby. Very nice staff, that gives you that extra service to make your stay a comfortable one. They were fun and accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay at the Megas Palace, Sofia. Thank you!

2/10 Mala

Very awful

My worst hotel experience in my life. The hotel address was totally incorrect from the hotels.com site. The hotel stuffs was a tongue-tied guy, who was not understandable even from half meter distance. The room environment is a disgusting, cheap plastic. The hotel is at a dirty, bad street. Very awful!

Pleasant and spotless

The hotel was spotless and comfortable, the rooms were cleaned daily with clean towels. The indoor spa was lovely and warm, the outdoor pool was very disappointing, it was filthy and full of debris, given September is just out of season, the weather was still warm and an outdoor pool would have been welcomed, that was one of the reasons we booked that hotel. There were English channels on the TV and wifi, however, wifi wasn't great in the rooms. The staff did not speak English, they were friendly enough. Continental breakfast could have been better, dry bread, tomatoes, jam, meat and some morning boiled eggs wasn't sufficient seeing the hotel was a bus ride or 15 minutes walk to a nearest shop. The location of the hotel requires transport. The price was very competitive, we would not return to this hotel, as we do not plan on visiting Bankya again. However, it was a pleasant stay and ideal for an overnight stay if travelling.
